The Lighthouse Hotel architecture competition explores the transformation of an abandoned lighthouse into a Mediterranean-inspired boutique hotel, highlighting coastal architecture, luxury hotel design, and seaside living.
We proposed a restoration that draws inspiration from its history and the mysteries of the ocean’s depths.
The Boutique Hotel design merges with hand-selected vintage and contemporary handmade pieces,
offering a refined balance.
The concept draws inspiration from a lost underwater treasure box. The minimalist exterior façade and outdoor areas create a powerful contrast to the richly layered interior, designed to feel personal, warm, and effortlessly elegant.
The colour palette brings the “underwater treasure” concept to life. It brings together three main groups of colours:
Ocean-Inspired Blues to create connection with the surrounding sea;
Metallic Accents to evoke the glint of treasure;
Coral Red for the underwater reefs.
